• Puerto Vallarta is ready to host the 21^st International Gourmet Festival, welcoming more than 30 renowned chefs and more than 400,000 food fans for seven days of a-la-carte dining, gourmet safaris, wine tasting, and chef’s tables from November 16 to 22, 2015. Participating restaurants include The River Café, La Leche, Sapphire Beach Club, Trio, and Hiroshi, located in Hotel Mousai, the first 5 AAA Diamond property on Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

• The Panama Canal is ready to open its next cruise season with the October 3 transit of Costa Luminosa. Approximately 220 cruise ships are expected to transit the canal from October 2015 to April 2016, with cruise lines including Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Pearl Seas Cruises, and Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic offering itineraries that sail through the Panama Canal as part of the experiences.

• Those who love good beer and good music can look forward to The Lebrewski Cruise, sailing out of Miami on Norwegian Pearl March 1, 2016. Beer tastings sample dozens of breweries from Ballast Point to Heavy Seas, Terrapin to Funky Buddha, Cigar City to Stone Brewing. Featured musical guests include Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident (himself a brewer), Molly Hatchet, O.A.R., The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Young Dubliners, and plenty more.
