Royal Caribbean announces entertainment lineup for Anthem of the Seas

Passengers on Royal Caribbean International’s second Quantum-class ship, Anthem of the Seas, will find rock music, illusion, and electronically enhanced cabaret in the ship’s entertainment lineup.

The key show will be the Broadway musical “We Will Rock You” featuring the music of legendary British rock group, Queen. Also in the main theater will be “The Gift,” an original production created for Anthem of the Seas and described on the cruise line’s blog as “a musical journey of fantasy and illusion.”

There will also be a new show, “Spectra’s Cabaret,” created for Royal Caribbean by Moment Factory and described as a “multi-dimensional cabaret where you will be transformed into invisible realms.” Performed in the Two70 degree theater, which is equipped with big video screens controlled by robotic arms, the show will combine live performance and music with “experimental cinema.”

Anthem of the Seas debuts this spring in Europe.
