Oceania expands wine options

Cruise News – Nov. 7, 2014

Wine lovers will find a new option on Oceania ships. Debuting across the fleet is a new Wine by the Bottle Package. More than 50 master sommelier–selected bottles will be value priced at $42.50 per bottle, gratuities included. You need to buy seven or more bottles to take advantage of the offer.

The list includes exclusive wines not otherwise available in onboard restaurants, and varies by ship and itinerary, the line said. Among the selection are regional wines and much-sought labels like Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon, Rodney Strong Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc, and Domaine Saint-Roch Vin de Pays.

Oceania is also introducing a new Odyssey Menu(pdf) with wine pairings in its La Reserve by Wine Spectator tasting room aboard Marina and Riviera.
