Spooky Sailing; Cruise with the Monsters from Hotel Transylvania
Dream Cruises is collaborating with Sony Picture Entertainment this summer to offer a theme cruise with a spooky side. Guests aboard two of Dream Cruises ships, Genting Dream and World Dream, will get to experience activities based on Sony’s latest animated motion picture; Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation.
All summer long, passengers onboard the ships will enjoy exciting experiences and activities which fans of the movie franchise will love. The cruises will head to such incredible, picturesque destinations such as Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand. The theme cruise will be attended by some of Hotel Transylvania’s legendary monsters through meet-and-greet, bedtime storytelling, costume parties and other fun monster-themed fantasies.
“We are pleased to enrich the summer sailings of Dream Cruises with the cast of Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation aboard our new ships Genting Dream and World Dream. Our onboard teams are excited to deliver Dream Cruise vacations where these lovable monsters – as seen in the movie – will come to life.” said Dream Cruises President Thatcher Brown. “Fun and great entertainment are a big part of what Dream Cruises offers our guests in innovative ways. Our guests will enjoy the privilege to interact with their favorite characters throughout their summer voyage.”
Cruise with your Favorite Monsters
The film’s third installment follows America’s favorite monster family on a summer vacation away from the hotel on a monster cruise ship! The plot for the movie made Dream Cruises’ partnership with Sony a natural fit.

Sony Picture Entertainment Executive Vice-President, Brand Strategy and Global Partnerships Jeffery Godsick echoed the sentiment.
“As our monster family takes a family cruise adventure in the film, worldwide audiences will be inspired to go on cruises of their own which makes Dream Cruises an ideal partner for Hotel Transylvania 3.” he said.
The Hotel Transylvania franchise got its start back in 2012 when the first film debuted. The movie was a huge hit thanks to big name stars like Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon and David Spade offering their voice talents to the cast.
