  • Natural health pioneer Dr. Andrew Weil has teamed up with Seabourn and The Onboard Spa by Steiner to create a new well-being program. The program, the first of its kind, includes a new onboard position – The Wellness Guide – who, throughout the voyage, educates guests in mindful living, leads yoga and meditation classes, and holds social, environmental, and spiritual wellness gatherings with topics like healthy aging, spontaneous happiness & healing, and anti-inflammatory foods. Dr. Weil himself will kick off the program by sailing on Seabourn Encore’s inaugural cruise in January 2017.
  • Luxury line Crystal Cruises, in the middle of its groundbreaking expansion, has unveiled a dynamic new website showing off their elegant, “all-exclusive” journeys by ocean, river, yacht, and air. The graphically stunning site, designed with a “tablet-first” approach, is packed with slideshows and easy-to-use data, including an interactive guidebook, dynamic cruise calendars, and a feature for comparing up to three voyages side by side.
  • Legendary ocean liner Queen Mary 2, fresh from its major refurbishment, hosted legendary director Francis Ford Coppola on the July 24, 2016, 8-night trans-Atlantic crossing with his wife Eleanor. “Beautiful voyage,” said the three-time Academy Award winner upon disembarking in Southampton. “Everyone was so gracious and attentive to us.”
