MSC Cruises Hosts Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Annual Photoshoot

Down, set….CRUISE! The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders took to the high seas with MSC Cruises for their annual photo shoot featuring some of the most beautiful locations in the tropics. The 2018 photoshoot was more than just a chance for the gorgeous ladies to take great pictures, but also tour some cool places across the Caribbean thanks to MSC Cruises and their megaship MSC Seaside.

The ship, the first in the seaside class, only began cruising in December of 2017 and currently cruises from PortMiami.

Roberto Fusaro, President of MSC Cruises USA, knew that the Dolphins Cheerleaders were the perfect match for MSC Seaside.

“We are delighted that MSC Seaside was chosen as the ideal stage for capturing the images for the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Annual,” he said. “Whether strolling along the waterfront boardwalk, having fun in the multi-story aqua park, or relaxing in the MSC Aurea Spa, it was a true honor to host the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and provide them the opportunity to experience and showcase our beautiful new ship.”

Capturing a great photo requires a skilled model, but also an impressive locale. Stops along the way included Philipsburg, St. Maarten, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Nassau, Bahamas. Expert photographers captured the cheerleaders in such stunning spots as El Yunque Forest and historic Old San Juan in Puerto Rico; white sand beaches such as Baie Rouge and the historic shopping area of St. Maarten; and the idyllic Balmoral Island near Nassau.

The Miami Dolphins annual cheerleader photoshoot followed a Fan Cruise on board MSC Seaside in March. The cruise featured Dolphins legends like Kim Bokamper, Terry Kirby, Sam Madison, Nat Moore, Joe Rose and Patrick Surtain. The fan cruise was the first of three planned for upcoming years thanks to a partnership between MSC and one of the NFL’s most beloved organizations.

Todd Kline, Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, offered his thoughts on the partnership.

“We’re excited about our relationship with MSC Cruises and the spectacular Caribbean destinations the MSC Seaside opens up for our fans,” he said. “The recent travels including our fans, alumni and cheerleaders are just the beginning of what we feel will be a thriving partnership with MSC Cruise and their world-class ships to benefit our truly diverse fan base.”
