Book Now and Save
A Norwegian Deal
Norwegian’s “Spectacular Bonus Days” promotion, now through February 12, brings upgrades and other savings on Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Breakaway, and Norwegian Epic.
Norwegian Getaway officially debuts next month on year-round cruises from Miami, but this week is serving as the floating Bud Light Hotel for the Super Bowl.
With the promotion, book an outside stateroom and you can get a free upgrade to a balcony stateroom. Passengers are also eligible for a $100 per stateroom onboard credit on 7-day or longer sailings. Book a Cruisetour on Norwegian Epic in Europe and you get $200 to spend shipboard.
Sale fares for a one-week Eastern Caribbean sailing on Norwegian Getaway from Miami are from $649.
Crystal Upping Fares
If a cruise on luxury line Crystal Cruises is on the wish list, book it now. The all-inclusive line says that due to “overwhelming positive response” to its current “Book Now Fares” promotion it will raise published fares on 94 percent of its cruises on March 1.
The increase will be for 2014, 2015, and 2016 fares. But meanwhile, passengers can save up to $2,500 per person on Asia cruises and up to $1,800 on Europe itineraries.
Crystal is also currently offering an airfare allowance of up to $800 per person on 23 sailings in 2014 and 2015, to Asia, Alaska, Australia/New Zealand, Indonesia, and the Pacific Coast.
The line’s other current promotions include a Kids Sail Free deal on 35 sailings in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and New England/Canada. There’s also a special Ultra-Low Solo Fares offer, with a solo supplement of only 10 percent on select 2014 and 2015 sailings.
