MSC Cruises has completed the installation of a dragon sculpture aboard its new flagship, MSC World Asia, under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The stainless-steel sculpture measures 39 feet long and 11.4 feet wide and is suspended 32 feet above the Outdoor World Promenade. Designed by Balich Wonder Studio, it features nearly 700 mirrors, 1,312 feet of integrated strip lighting, and more than 3,000 LED light points.
MSC World Asia will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on Dec. 4, 2026, with calls in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, and Valletta.

MSC World Asia is the third ship in MSC Cruises’ World Class series, combining European design with global influences, international dining, entertainment, and family-friendly experiences.
