Port Valet Takes the Hassle out of Cruising From Seattle

What’s the worst part about going on a cruise vacation to the Pacific Northwest? When it ends! However, thanks to Port Valet, a new service from Port of Seattle, it’s never been easier to get home after a cruise.

Port Valet is a complimentary luggage service sponsored by Port of Seattle which transfers your bags to the airline for you and checks them to your final destination. The service also gets passengers their boarding passes long before getting to the airport, cutting down on waiting in line and all the hassle that comes with air travel.

How does Port Valet Work?

It’s simple to sign up for the service, you can enroll with whatever cruise line you’re vacationing with! The quick and easy form can be found in your stateroom. Simply fill it out and if you have any questions, inquire with guest services.

Port Valet is available for those flying with the following airlines:

  • Alaska
  • American
  • Delta
  • Horizon
  • JetBlue
  • Southwest
  • United

Once you’ve submitted the Port Valet form, wait until the last night of your cruise when you’ll receive your boarding passes and luggage tags from the ship’s crew. Set your bags outside the door that evening and the crew will take care of the rest. Your bags will be portered to the airport and checked in without you having to do a thing.
