Uniworld’s passage to India
River cruise line Uniworld is adding India to its list of destinations, announcing plans to add river cruises on the Ganges beginning January 2016. The 12-day India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges itinerary, from New Delhi to Kolkata, will include seven nights aboard the new, all-suite, 56-passenger Ganges Voyager II — billed as “the most ultra-luxurious” river ship on the Ganges. Accommodations include a 400-square-foot Maharaja Suite; all suites have French balconies. The trip also includes five nights at luxury chain Oberoi Hotels and Resorts properties in New Delhi, Agra (for the Taj Mahal), and Jaipur. The program opens for bookings on October 15.
