- Starting today in 133 AT&T stores across 37 states, you’ll be able to take a fully immersive virtual cruise thanks to a program developed by Carnival Corporation for the Samsung Gear VR headset. The Oculus-powered hardware works with Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note5 devices, and has the ability to surround a wearer with the sights and sounds of a sunny cruise vacation. You’ll also be able to enter a sweepstakes to win one of 10 week-long cruises on Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line brands by signing up via an in-store tablet or by visiting www.vrcruisewlcl.com.
- For its new ship, ms Koningsdam, Holland America Line brought international hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany on board – a partnership celebrated in a new series of video interviews. “Conversations with Adam D. Tihany” starts with a discussion of Tihany’s “Architecture of Music” concept, using the curves of certain instruments to create shapes in the ship’s public spaces. Subsequent videos will cover culinary venues and how design encourages guests to explore new spaces.
