Carnival Magic Gets New Restaurants and Bars

As part of a multimillion-dollar renovation, the 130,000-ton Carnival Magic will be adding new dining and bar options, including Guy’s Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Pizzeria del Capitano, and the Alchemy Bar.

The two-week dry dock is taking place from February 21 to March 6.

“Carnival Magic is already a groundbreaking ship — it was the first to feature our popular Cucina del Capitano Italian restaurant, the Caribbean-themed RedFrog Pub, and SportSquare outdoor recreation facility — and with these new features we’re making this spectacular floating resort even better,” says Carnival Cruise Line’s president, Christine Duffy.

Carnival Magic’s last 7-day cruise from Galveston is scheduled for April 10, 2016. She will operate a special 3-day cruise to Nassau on April 20, 2016, and then reposition to Port Canaveral to launch year-round 7-day Caribbean cruises starting April 23, 2016.
