Seabourn Returns to Alaska After 15 Years
Cruise News – Oct. 26, 2015
After a 15-year hiatus in the region, ultra-luxury, small-ship cruise line Seabourn has announced its plan to return to Alaska and British Columbia starting in 2017. The line says the move is in response to high guest demand as well as increased capacity when its new ship, Seabourn Encore, debuts in December 2016.
Seabourn Sojourn will sail 11- to 25-day itineraries from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Anchorage (Seward), Alaska, combining Alaska’s most popular ports with a variety of smaller ports, taking advantage of the ship’s intimate size and nimble maneuverability. Iconic sites such as Misty Fjords National Park, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka will be interspersed with visits to Klemtu, British Columbia, as well as a variety of scenic cruising and transits.
