Cruise Terminal Upgraded in Anticipation of Celebrity Edge
Celebrity Cruises is always trying to amaze their guests on board their cruise ships, but thanks to a newly designed Port Everglades Terminal 25, they’re doing it long before people head out to sea.
Port Everglades Terminal 25 underwent a massive remodeling project to update the terminal to the standards expected by modern cruisers. The upgrades were completed and the ribbon to the new terminal cut in anticipation of Celebrity Cruises newest ship, Celebrity Edge.
The New Port Everglades Terminal 25
The new terminal, designed by veteran architectural firm Bermello Ajamil & Partners, features the latest in travel technology like Frictionless Arrival all in a sleek and gorgeous atmosphere. An interactive light wall installation adds to the ambiance as well.
Guests staying in suites are in for an even more luxurious experience at the new terminal thanks to The Retreat, an exclusive lounge with screening areas and exclusive elevator to a private rooftop terrace. Suite guests’ boarding process is further expedited thanks to the new terminal amenities.

President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises Lisa Lutoff-Perlo believed the new ship needed an equally impressive terminal from which to sail.
“When designing the revolutionary Celebrity Edge, we knew we wanted to design a terminal that perfectly complemented the ship and matched its one-of-a-kind experience,” she said. “With cutting-edge technology, in service of a gorgeous design, T25 is that perfect new home. T25 also happens to be Celebrity’s first ever brand-designed cruise terminal, which not only represents a milestone for Celebrity, but also presented us with the opportunity to set yet another standard in design and create the perfect guest experience.”
Home to Celebrity Edge and More
Port Everglades Terminal 25, once complete in October 2018, is expected to be home to several Celebrity Cruises vessels, including Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Silhouette. Celebrity Cruises sees around 335,000 guests through Port Everglades annually, 9% of the cruise line’s total yearly passengers.
