Holland America Line Adds Three New Music Venues
Cruise News – Mar. 20, 2015
[[Here’s what we learned this week at Cruise Shipping Miami 2015, the cruise industry’s largest annual gathering.]]
Holland America Line, embracing the success of its branded B.B. King’s Blues Club, has signed two more music-related partnerships, one for a sing-a-long piano/guitar/DJ space called Billboard Onboard, and the other a chamber music venue called Lincoln Center Stage. The line’s Pinnacle-class newbuild, ms Koningsdam, which debuts in April 2016, will have all three spaces positioned together in a Music Walk.
The main theater, The World Stage, won’t look like anything you’ve seen on Holland America before; it’ll feature two-story-high, 270-degree LED screens.
The line also said the 2,650-passenger ship, after an inaugural season in Europe, will cruise the Caribbean from Port Everglades for the 2016/2017 winter season.
