Hotel Pools Are a Slice of Paradise

Daycation is an innovative new service allowing people to purchase day passes to enjoy hotel pools and other amenities without checking into a room for the night. As the name implies, a daycation is about getting away from your hectic life and enjoying all the amenities of a real vacation without all the extra travel or expenses.

The service is growing in popularity in cities like Miami where luxury pools and spas are a staple at just about every beachside hotel. Giving guests the option to enjoy a day by the pool or at the spa without having to spend hundreds or even thousands on a room opens up a whole new market for those looking for a quick and easy getaway.

A recent partnership with angel investor John Santiago, the CEO of the international marketing agency M8, opened the doors for Daycation to expand their list of participating hotels and resorts in Miami and New York. If the service continues to expand, they could have a really impressive network of hotels and resorts taking advantage of the extra patrons. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.

Daycation recently received the People’s Choice at The Future of Travel Summit in Wynwood and was one of two companies chosen to pitch their idea to Jason Calacanis, Pitbull, and Comcast Ventures at the Emerge final stage.

As of now, the service contracts with five hotels in Miami: COMO Metropolitan, The Confidante Miami Beach, The St. Regis Bal Harbour, Loews Miami Beach and Shore Club South Beach.
