Mikkel Woodruff co-owns Sometimes Sailing and Sometimes Home travel websites with her husband, Dan, focusing on small format cruises and couples travel, respectively. They call the east coast of the United States home and travel domestically and internationally, motivating people to seek new experiences and explore new places through inspirational content.

Teresa Machan’s worldwide travels have included two coast-to-coast drives in the United States, cross-continent train rides in Australia, and a stint living in Hong Kong. Happiest on, in, or under the water, Teresa relocated from London to Brighton where, on a good day, she can be spotted lapping the waves.

Jon Fleming lives in London, U.K., and has been traveling all his adult life — from a month-long round-Europe rail trip when he was 18, to a year-long round-the-world backpacking trip for his honeymoon. For the last 17 years, he has been traveling by cruise ship as a destination lecturer, visiting 130 countries and sailing on 11 world cruise itineraries.

A native of San Diego, David Swanson’s writing and photography has been featured in the pages of National Geographic Traveler, American Way, and the Los Angeles Times for more than 20 years, and he served as President of the Society of American Travel Writers in 2018-2019.

Bill Panoff is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Porthole Cruise and Travel magazine. A former cruise industry entertainer and cruise director, Bill spent decades at sea and is one of the world's foremost experts on all things cruise and travel.

Jill Weinlein is a travel, dining and entertainment writer who has appeared in The Beverly Press and Park LaBrea Newspapers, Fodors, NBYnews, Just Luxe and Luxe Beat magazine. She resides in California.
