To enter online, complete the official online registration form found at Porthole.com/vote. Only one entry per person is allowed. Additional entry may be made by filling out the Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine Readers Survey linked at the end of the ballot. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means, and entries in excess of one per person will be disqualified. One entry per person will be considered based on address, email, and home telephone number. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
The Sweepstakes will end August 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Online entries must be received before 11:59 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time.
Rules and Regulations
The promotion is offered only in the United States and is open only to legal residents of the
Continental U.S. and Canada, 18 years of age or older, with a valid identification. The
promotion begins on July 1, 2024, and ends August 31, 2024. The promotion is subject to all
applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or
restricted by law.
All entries become the sole property of Porthole Magazine, Inc. Sponsors are not responsible
for lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, late, damaged, destroyed, or delayed
entries. A winner’s list can be obtained by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the
following address after November 15, 2024:

General Terms and Conditions:
No prize substitution except at the sole discretion of the sponsors due to prize unavailability
for any reason, and only then for a prize of equal or greater value. No cash equivalent of
prizes. No transfer of prizes. By entering, entrants accept and agree to the official rules and
the decisions of the sponsor and sweepstakes committee, which are final and binding in all
respects. The promotion is offered in the United States only and shall only be construed
and evaluated according to United States law.
Prize: An eight-day Alaska cruise for two, in one veranda stateroom (including taxes and port fees) on Riviera, sailing May 13, 2025, Vancouver, BC to Whittier, AK. (Prize is valued at: $7,798).
Prize has no cash value. Offer is valid on May 13, 2025 only. A valid credit card will be required upon embarkation for incidentals. Cash deposits are not accepted. Original cruise credit certificate must be presented, and has no cash value. Reservations are based on availability and must be booked 90-days prior to departure (02/10/2025). Winner is responsible for his/her/their own transportation to/from the cruise’s embarkation and
debarkation ports.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of the United States & Canada. Must be
18 years or older as of June 30, 2024. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state,
and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and
accept decisions of the Sponsor as final.
Employees, their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse, and others
living in their same household, whether related or not) of Porthole Cruise and Travel
Magazine and their respective parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries, advertising and
promotions agents, and the directors, officers, agents, and employees and family members
residing in the same household, (collectively, the “Sponsors”) are not eligible to enter.
Employees of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Oceania
Cruises, LTD., or its affiliates, and their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and
siblings, and their respective spouses), and individuals living in the same households of such
employees are not eligible to enter.
Selection of Winner: Winner will be notified in writing, via email, and/or by telephone and will
be announced in the December 2024 issue of Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine, on or
around November 1, 2024. By accepting the prize, except where prohibited by law, winners
and guests agree to the use of his or her name and/or photograph for advertising/publicity
purposes without further compensation or notice.
The Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find,
in their sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing,
to be in violation of the terms of service of any prize, to be acting in violation of the Official
Rules, or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or
harass any other person. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of
the Drawing, or defraud the Sponsors in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the
law. The Sponsors shall not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any property
loss, damage, personal injury, or death, in connection with the prizes provided pursuant to the
Drawing.
Release from Liability: By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsors from any and all liability arising from participating in the Drawing and/or acceptance, or use/misuse of prize, regardless of whether such claims are founded in whole or part upon alleged negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct of any of the Sponsors. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsors are not responsible for technical or human errors in transmission or receipt of telephone calls or for miscommunication or for lost entries, for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prizes.
In the event of noncompliance, or in the event winner cannot be reached within 24 hours by information provided on the winner’s entry, the prize will be returned as unclaimed or undeliverable and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner by random drawing. Prizes are not transferable. No cash or prize substitutions. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of comparable value. The decisions of the Sponsors are final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to modify or cancel the sweepstakes. All prizes will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. By accepting prize(s), winner(s) consent to the use by Sponsors of his or her name, voice, likeness, biographical information, demographic information, and address for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. The prize winners are solely responsible for any local, state, and federal taxes, and any other fees and costs connected with their prize.
Limitations of Liability: The Sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including, without limitation, that which is caused by Web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Drawing or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Drawing. The Sponsors assume no responsibilities for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, or defection, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of Web site or entries in processing the Drawing entries. The Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or entrants on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site associated with the Drawing. The Sponsors are not responsible for cheating or fraud by any entrant. If, for any reason, the Drawing is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation of unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which, in their sole discretion could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Drawing, the Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Drawing. In such an event, the Sponsors will select the winner in a random drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to (and/or after, if appropriate) the action taken by the Sponsors.
